Give Hope to a Child in Need
For less than $1 per day you can sponsor a destitute child and give your child hope, an education and a means for a brighter future. Your annual sponsorship of $300 will cover school tuition and supplies, transportation, maintenance and medical care. In addition, every child will receive two meals per day, which for most children are the only meals they will have.
As a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to develop a relationship with your child as well as a unique awareness of life in Uganda. KidsUganda will facilitate communication between you and your sponsored child at least two times per year. Communication will include a personal note, a progress report from your child’s teacher, and pictures. You will have the opportunity to send letters, pictures and drawings as well.
KidsUganda has continued to increase its monthly payments to help the children of Maranatha, currently providing $6,000 a month to assist with operating expenses. Maranatha Schools depend on these funds each and every month to meet the needs of the students. The Child Sponsorship Program will provide an ongoing, sustainable source of income to cover the costs of educating these vulnerable children. Currently, Maranatha has drastically reduced its acceptance of new students except under exceptional circumstances due to lack of funds. Our hope is that, through the success of our Child Sponsorship Program, more children will have access to learning, a caring environment and a brighter future through the Maranatha Schools.
