SOLAR POWER

Let There Be Light!

KidsUganda has partnered with Solar Light for Africa to bring solar power to the girls’ dorm. Solar Light for Africa will be installing solar panels on the dorm as part of the Youth Mission Trip this summer.

There are exciting future plans for additional solar projects at Maranatha, which may include solar power at the remote, rural schools at Kigalama and Nkonya, solar education and training at the vocational school, light for the chicken coop to increase production, and solar energy to power computers.
