MIZIGO KITCHEN
Thanks to Maranatha’s friends in Texas, in early January 2010 ground was broken for the new kitchen at Maranatha Mizigo. The kitchen has solid floors, sturdy walls and storage for easy cleanup. Multiple serving windows ease congestion and assist in serving the kids quickly so they can get back to class on time. Most importantly, the fuel-efficient stoves have reduced the cost of firewood to the school by almost 60% and are helping Maranatha to conserve the Uganda forests.
