ABOUT THE MARANATHA SCHOOLS
Patrick and Eva Walusimbi founded Maranatha Schools & Orphanage in 1989. Their mission is to provide the most vulnerable children with quality education, nutrition, health care, and shelter, while establishing income-generating projects for self-sufficiency.- Maranatha Schools & Orphanage provide two daily meals and education for about 1,200 students, including 185 orphans, at five schools in Uganda – Mizigo Primary, Mizigo vocational/Secondary, Kigalama, Nkonya and Kyetume.
- KidsUganda assists Maranatha Schools & Orphanage by providing aid with strategic planning, fundraising, and implementation in support of improving educational performance, hygiene, nutrition and health, and assisting Maranatha to become self-sustaining.
