A: Yes, KidsUganda, NFP was approved by the IRS in December 2006. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and we are eligible for matching grants. KidsUganda's EIN number is 06-1798047. With all gifts, KidsUganda will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.

A: 100% of the monies and resources donated go directly to the Maranatha School Project, based in Mityana. Q: What are the greatest needs at the school?
A: KidsUganda has been providing $4,000 per month to Maranatha Schools since early 2007 to help meet operating expenses. Maranatha Schools depend on these funds each and every month to meet the needs of the students. The Child Sponsorship Program will provide an ongoing, sustainable source of income to cover the costs of educating these vulnerable children. Currently, Maranatha has drastically reduced its acceptance of new students except under exceptional circumstances due to lack of funds. Our hope is that, through the success of our Child Sponsorship Program, more children will have access to learning, a caring environment, and a brighter future through the Maranatha Schools.
Q: Is KidsUganda a religious organization?
A: No. KidsUganda evolved into being as people from the Community Church, the Rotary Club, and local citizens all endeavored to support the Maranatha Schools. While faith is a factor for some who support KidsUganda, it is not a faith-based organization and has no religious agenda.
